Why We Started MyBliss®
MyBliss® was born from a simple realisation: the contraception industry has never truly been designed with women in mind.
Founded by Mo Carrier and Joel Birkhead, we set out to create intimate wellness products built around women's health, comfort and body safety. For too long, the options available have felt clinical, impersonal and completely disconnected from what female consumers actually need.
Mo's Story
Mo's journey began with a personal experience shared by many women. Navigating the side effects of hormonal contraception, she found that the options available didn't work for her body and that her concerns were often dismissed rather than addressed.
Mo and Joel believed there was a better way. They chose to explore hormone-free alternatives and discovered just how far behind the rest of the condom market had fallen.
The Gap We Found
Re-entering the contraception market, they found products that hadn't kept pace with what modern consumers, particularly women, actually needed. Outdated in design. Outdated in ingredients. Outdated in attitude.
At MyBliss®, we're determined to change that.
How We Built MyBliss®
Working with leading manufacturers and formulation scientists, we developed products built around one core principle: they should work with the female body, not against it.
Our ultra-thin condoms are made from 100% natural rubber latex, lubricated with pH-balanced silicone oil. They are free from the ingredients commonly found in mainstream brands that disrupt intimate comfort and the body's natural balance:
- No glycerin
- No parabens
- No spermicide
- No fragrances
Our Buttercup packaging functions like a discreet pod. It protects the product and is straightforward to use.
